Nestled at the foot of the Aiguilles d'Arves, Albiez is a charming village located in the Alps, in Maurienne.
It is a preserved village which seduces with its authenticity, its pastures, picturesque landscapes and inhabitants.
The ski slopes and accommodation are located around the two main hamlets ; the chief-place and the Mollard as well as all the essential shops. As human-size ski resort, Albiez is perfect for families as well as suitable for beginner and advanced skiers.
Easily accessible, Albiez is 25 minutes from St Jean de Maurienne and 1 hour from Chambéry. If you want to visit the surroundings for a day, you can go to the Sybelles ski area (St Sorlin and St-Jean d'Arves, the Corbier, the Toussuire, ...) or the Orelles ski area (Val Thorens).
With 35 kilometers of slopes, Albiez has a reasonable ski area.
Beginners skiers (children and adults) will have fun with Marmot'ride and confirmed skiers will find the pleasure of skiing on red (Dôme de Merderel/Pierre Aigüand) and black slopes (Pras Radet/Plan Corbé) !
Panoramas are magical Aiguilles d’Arves jusqu’au Parc Naturel des Ecrins.
The link with Karellis ski area is planned for 2021/22 which will allowed a bigger and more various ski area !
