Located 1600 meters above sea level, at the doors of the Ecrins you could enjoy a magnificent panorama on the Meije and the peaks of the Ecrins National Park. Authentic, Auris en Oisans is composed of 11 small friendly hamlets.
In addition to its more modern buildings, the resort has kept all its charm. At the turning of the narrow streets you could find small chapels that confer a certain cachet to the station.
Very appreciated by families, the small size of its own area is ideal for the youngest or the beginners. While the others will be able to join the large domain of Alpe d'Huez easily !

The ski area of Auris en Oisans is composed of 24 tracks, 45km of descents. With lots of green and blue tracks it will suit perfectly for the little ones as well as the beginners. With 250 slopes km, the Alpe d'Huez Grand domaine ski is one of the biggest in France. It spreads over Auris en Oisans, the Alpe d'HUez, Villard Reculas, La Garde, Oz en Oisans, Vaujany. This ski area is diversified and has many specificities. Thanks to 4 itiniraries, you can go on 8000m diference in height without skilifts! Then go and ask for your 8000m diploma. It also has a glacier at 3300m with an amazing view. You have to go on the mythic Sarenne black slope, introduced as the longest in the world with 16km! You may have to be tough to go on.
