Canet en Roussillon is in the North of St-Cyprien, 10 min from Perpignan and 45 min from Spain.

Canet en Roussillon counts 2 main districts ; the historic village which is in lands (with the castle Vicomtal and the Church St-Jacques) and Canet-Plage which is the district by the sea, with the port which hosts a nautical pole and a water-based recreations space (Quai des Loisirs). The latter suggests discovering various activities such as towed buoy, cruise, paddle, windsurfing board, catamaran, optimist, marine fishing...
Following the coastline, districts are very pleasant, by going down to south you can not miss the lagoon of the pond of Canet (classified) where it is possible to observe fishermen's huts.

With 9 km of big fine sand beaches, Canet en Roussillon is a privileged holidays destination for families and children ! Indeed, as the height of beaches is not abrupt, it forms a safety shore for children and becomes a natural playground without danger.

The Sardinal beach, most northerly, is slightly off-centered of the city which allows to take advantage of an wilder landscape than those of the city center. Most of the restaurants and private beaches are situated on the city center beaches (plage du Grand Large, plage Centrale,...)

Outdoor free sport classes are organized all summer long, as well as an outdoor fitness gym and a volley, tennis and soccer grounds.
