Grand Bornand Village is a french ski resort located in the Aravis massif, at 1000 meters.

With its onion dome church, its grenette (covered market place) and its charming square, resort downtown has choosen tradition as a trademark.

Residential districts spread along the valley. They are mainly made of chalets with tavaillons (wood tile roof), Solaret (opened balcony), pointe d'anes... those French Savoie architectural specificities are so nice to contemplate.

Grand Bornand Village is linked to ski area by 2 gondolas (Rosay and Joyere).

Ski return is made with one red ski run called Envers. However, beginners will prefer going back to the resort when ski day is finished with gondolas.

No accommodation are close to the ski runs. A free shuttle service linked districts to ski lifts departure in a few minutes

With 90 kilometers of ski runs, it will surely pleased families who are looking for a good slopes and amazing landscapes.

Moreover, ski area is up to date in term of equipments. It offers 2 gondola, three 6 pax detachable chairlift and a good artifical snow cover.

Icing on the cake, skipass rates are not too expensive.

Note that a large cross country ski area can be found.

Aravis area is a share skipass (only available for 2 days and more) which allow you to ski on Clusaz / Manigod, Grand Bornand and St Jean de Sixt.

There is no ski run between those 3 areas, you will have to use shuttle service (free if you have Aravis skipass).
