Isola 2000, " a snow balcony over the Côte d'Azur", gots a micro-climat and a high that allow sun and snow. It often has snow records.

Isola 2000 is located at 90km from Nice, 3km from Italy and at the entrance of the National Park of the Mercantour.

It was created in the 70's s an intergrated resort with huge snow front.
In the 80's more "moutain" type buildings were built.

The big interest of the ski area of Isola 2000 is the sun and the awesome landscape it offers. Indeed, when the weather allowes it, you can see the sea from the pick of the area, the Cime de Sistron.

The ski area is divided with 2 valleys: Lombarde is always under the sun whereas Méné is in the shadow the afternoon.

Isola 2000 also gets snow: perfect combo ! Opened from 03/12 to 23/04/2023.
