La Joue du Loup is one of the two stations of the ski area of Dévoluy. It is one of the youngest French stations and probably one of the most attractive with his smalls residence around the place of shops.
It is similar to a station village and has a very cosy atmosphere.
To come in winter, it is to discover a particular climate, a snow of the North under a sun of the South !
The alpine ski area, in contact with the village of La Joue du Loup, consists of 100 km of slopes, between 1500 and 2510 of height. The cross-country ski area counts 35 km of nordic ski slopes, accessible from the col Festre, Joue du Loup and Superdevoluy.

Perched in 2550 meters in height, the tray of Bure have a monitoring center which gets some waves radios. There raise themselves six fabulous « sunflowers of metal » taken out any right of a science fiction film.
