Lacanau is a seaside resort on the west coast of France, 70 km from Bordeaux. Popular for its waves quality, and the surf Lacanau propose a lot of activities. The world championship of professional surf the "Lacanau Pro" take place there every years. It is the perfect destination for surfing and water sports passionate. Lacanau is also reputed for its natural spaces, like the pine forests with largest bike paths. You can find many restaurants, bars, hotels, with especially a lot of camping not far from beaches.
Lacanau is along the sea, split into many small beaches or surf sport. Certain are central and touristic like the central beach and another are calmer and natural, like south beach. Lacanau has also a lake not far from the coasts, we advise you this lake if you want a warm and tranquil ambiance and another setting.
