Megeve is the epitome of the French art living. Historic place of alpine ski, it owes its touristic boom to the Rotschild family which spent their holidays there during the inter-war years. Since there, many crown heads come to Megeve, which now has international reputation and recognized as a luxury destination.


Megeve is also a Savoyard village with lots of charm and pedestrian streets, where it is pleasant to stroll among the Tour Magdelain adn the Tour du Prieuré. The architectural style of chalets, hotels and shops corresponds to Henry-Jacques le Même style, a french architecte.


In the heart of three mountain ranges, massive Giffre the Aravis and Beaufortain, Megeve offers an amazing view on the Mont Blanc.

Megeve ski area is part of the Evasion Mont Blanc with Combloux, la Giettaz, Saint-Gervais, Saint NIcolas de Veroce and les Contamines. Few ski areas are directly linked to dowtown, as Rochebrune or Mont d’Arbois which is the biggest ski-resort area.


Some ski areas are not linked ski-in ski-out, you may have to use free shuttles (for those who have a skipass) or perhaps a carriage. A diversified ski in wonderful landscapes is waiting for you, for beginners but also for confirmed skiers !


You can also choose to go skiing in the Portes du Mont Blanc ski area, smaller, which linked Megeve le Jaillet, Combloux, la Giettaz and Cordon. .
