Nice is considered as one of the most beautiful coastal city with its 10 km of coastline and 7.5 km of beaches ! One hour from Italy, alongside the Mediterranean sea, discover the sweetness and the art of living "à la niçoise" with various influences from all over the mediterranean area ; its gastronomy, its culture and its architecture.
It is a bustling city, concentrated in the Old Town with the cours Saleya and its numerous bars, restaurants and clubs. The promenade du Paillon allows a "nature break" in the city and the castle hill offers a marvellous panorama of the Baie des Anges.
Beaches in Nice are located alongside the famous Promenade des Anglais on 4 km. It is shingle beaches, but it is possible to find a little space with rocks artificial sandy beaches at the East of Nice.

The park of the Castle hill, perched over the old Nice, offers a magnificent panorama on the Baie des Anges, the old town and the port. Accessible by an elevator, stairs or petit train, the park is perfect for its freshness. A playground for children is also fitted out there.
• Paillon PromenadeThe Paillon Promendade is the city's green lung, it goes along the coast from the place Massena to the place Garibaldi with numerous playgrounds for children, and the possibility of dozing off on the grass!
• Marc Chagall museumThe Marc Chagall museum is a must if you are in Nice. Situated on Cimiez hill, this place gathers Chagall's most important work on the Bible : 17 paintings which make up the Biblical Message.
• Promenade des AnglaisThe Promenade des Anglais (also called the Prom' for local) is the symbol and the "cliché" when we think about Nice. It goes along the beaches from the airport to the port (5 km) by car, by foot or bicycle.
Situated near the old port of Nice, this gourmet restaurant is the perfect place for refined gourmets. Managed by the Chef Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen, JAN proposes an inventive cuisine which appeals to all our senses in an original atmosphere. It has obtained a Michelin star.
• VogliaSituated on the famous cours Saleya in the Old Nice, this restaurant proposes a delicious Italian cooking ! Antipasti, pastas and pizzas on the menu (moderate price) and the portions are (very) generous.
Advice : arrive earlier because it is impossible to book in advance.
