Saint-Malo is a fortified city edge by sea, situated in the north-west of France, in Brittany.
It is a city very important in France, cradle of history, legend,s and famous character like Jacques Cartier (who discovered the Canada in the XVIth century) and Chateaubriand. The city has learned preserved its authenticity with the bulwark. Saint-Malo counts 80 historical monuments, so it is very touristic. You can visite a real pirate ship ! It is bordered by the sea and has a lot of beaches. The famous "Mont Saint-Michel" is not far away (50km).
Whether it be for history, for landscape or for swimming, this city will seduce you !
Saint-Malo is popular for its great littoral with 29km along. There are dozen beaches. Certain are touristic and propose family activities, others are more hidden and natural. The most beautiful are situated in Rothéneuf, in north of Saint-Malo.

I disliked...
Certains musées fermés définitivement, des musées payants avec un tarif élevé par rapport au temps de visite. Très peu de tarifs étudiants.
