Environment
Les alpages de chantel residence, located in the upper area of arc 1800 and surrounded by forest, offers an unparalleled panorama of the valley and mont blanc.
it is made up of two buildings located 1 km apart, both of which offer fully equipped apartments, an indoor pool, saunas and hammams.
the chantel has 2 or 3 floors (no lifts). it is ideal for relaxing, peaceful holidays, with a fitness studio and access to the deep nature® spa.
to get to the pool you have to go outside, via the reception area. the chantel residence is close to the shops and the le dahu cable car. the roselend building has direct, indoor access to the pool and is near the resort.

Ski runs : Residence directly on the slopes. You will then have to ski downhill to resort main ski area departure square (350 meters from building II, 450 meters from building I). For children who do not ski at all: - access by walking from building II (pedestrian path, 225 meters with 35 meters of change in altitude) - access with free shuttle service or Dahu lift (pedestrian gondola) for building I (too far to go by feet).

Shops : Charvet shopping arcade can be joined: - with free shuttle service (stop at 150 meters) for building II - with free shuttle service (stop at 300 meters) or with Dahu lift (pedestrian gondola, stop at 120 meters) for building I.

Resort downtown : Resort center access: - with free shuttle service (stop at 150 meters) for building II - with free shuttle service (stop at 300 meters) or with Dahu lift (pedestrian gondola, stop at 120 meters) for building I.

Nous avons eu la très mauvaise surprise de nous trouver dans un appartement sans aucune vue sur l'extérieur !!!! A la montagne, c'est un comble! Une baie vitrée donnant sur une cage d'escalier et des Velux couverts de neige... Une grotte en quelque sorte !
Nous avons donc demandé de changer, ce qui a été accepté après de longues discussions forts désagréables et moyennant un supplément de 300€...
Notre nouvel appartement était cette fois parfait (hormis le ménage qui du coup n'avait pas été fait correctement faute de temps... Mais quand cela fait 3 heures que vous attendez une solution, vous n'êtes plus à ça près !
Nous avons re déménagé pour la dernière nuit car notre appartement était réservé.

Malheureusement, comme cela est très clairement spécifié sur la fiche descriptive de la location, le groupe Pierre & Vacances attribue à sa guise les appartements et ne garantit pas une orientation, un étage ou une vue en particulier (seules les prestations intérieures sont cadrées).

Nous avons fait suivre votre mécontentement au groupe Pierre & Vacances et ce dernier tient à préciser que le surcoût demandé sur place pour le second appartement (bien plus grand) était normalement de 977€, ramené exceptionnellement à 300€ étant donné les circonstances.

En dépit de ces points, nous avons réussi à négocier l'obtention d'un geste commercial conséquent. Votre conseiller dédié va prendre contact avec vous afin de le formaliser.

En parallèle, nous vous conseillons l'an prochain d'opter pour la location d'un appartement de propriétaire (90% de notre catalogue). Vous pourrez ainsi choisir précisément la configuration, l'étage, l'orientation et la vue.

How to book?

You can book easily online. It's easy, secure and fast.



May I get quotations by mail?

We do not send quotations by mail. Our full offer is up to date on our website and you can generate a quote and get it by email.



May I get a brochure by mail?

We do not send brochures by mail. Our full offer is up to date on our website, which is more accurate and convenient!



May I find the options like ski rentals back after my booking?

On you customer area, you will be able to add our options (except for cancellation insurance) until D-15. This way, you can first book the accommodation and consider booking the options later.



Can we make a tentative booking?

You cannot make a tentative booking but you can cancel your booking with no charge until D-45!



Does my baby count as a full person?

It depends on the supplier. Do not hesitate to contact us so we can have a look together.



When do i get my Travel kit/my travel documents?

The Travel Kits are send by mail around 20 days before your arrival. You will get an email with post tracking numbers. For last minutes bookings and stay without physical skipasses delivery, you will get the information per email within 24hours.



Why do you need my contact information?

We need your email so we can send you a booking confirmation but also our different deals. We give your phone number to the local partner so he can contact your for any emergency. Your mail address is used for sending you the Travel Kit. Finaly, your bank details will be asked on the bank website: we will not know or register them.



May I change my booking?

You can change your booking the same way as cancellation: free of charge until D-45 and then with charge.



May I find again my accommodation details after my booking?

You can have every information and photos of the accommodation on your customer area on the website.



Are the customers reviews on products description reliable?

We collecte ourselves the reviews of our customers. They are certified.



What is the Travel Kit?

If you have ready to ski skipass, we want to offer your the best services, so we pack in an nice envelope all documents you may need for your stay and we send it to you by mail. All you have to do is to put it in your luggage and leave for your holidays! In other case, you will get your travel documents by email (pdf file).



May I subscribe to cancellation insurance after my booking?

Unfortunately you can not. The insurer needs the suscription to be done while booking.

 

Payment and invoice

How can i pay the deposit? (stay in more than 36 days)

The deposit must be paid immediately with credit card.



How can i pay the balance? (stay in more than 36 days)

You have many options for that. From your customer area you can easily choose the amount you want to pay. This way, you can easily pay with different credit cards (perfect for groups) or stagger your payment.
The only condition is to have paid the balance before D-30.



Can i use several credit card?

You can use distinct credit cards to pay the deposite and the balance. Moreover, you can divid the balance and use as many credit card you want (perfect for friend trip!)



Will the balance be automaticly debited?

No, we do not store your bank details, you will have to pay onto your customer area.



How do we pay for a less than 30 days before arrival booking?

You will need to pay directly the balance with credit card online.



When do I get the receipt?

The receipt is edited at the same time as the Travel Kit, around D-20. You will get it in the kit. You can also download it in your customer area.

No stress, you can download every important papers with your smartphone in your customer area.



May I get my accommodation before the time given?

Unfortunately this is not possible as it depends of the hours when the previous tenants gave back the accommodation and its conditions.



May I arrive at my accommodation later or the day after?

Please contact us, we will check with the provider if a late arrival process can be done.



May I leave earlier?

Yes you can, you only have to let the local supplier knows when you get the keys.



What should I do if I have any problem during my stay?

During your stay you can refer to the local professional for any inconvenience. Do not hesitate to call him.

 

The snow cover

What’s happening if there is few snow?

For skipass, you will automatically be refund of the manager ski area offers if there is any (from discount to full refund). Please note that we are dependent on the manager of the ski area for this.
For ski lessons, it is the same process. For ski rentais, you can ask for refund for days you did not get the rentals by asking a certification at the shop.
Please note that no refund will be done for accommodation.



Why don’t your offer a lack of snow insurrance?

The study of the different clauses of most of these insurance makes us think that they are not useful for our customers.
