At the forefront of the Massif Belledonne is the village of Chamrousse. Composed of small urbanized sites, Chamrousse managed to carve out a place in the middle of the nature without degrading the environment. The main sites of the station are connected by forest paths, ski runs as well as road.

The Bachat villages (Chamrousse 1700) is the site of beginners with a special ski zone design, Roche-Béranger (Chamrousse 1750) is also dedicated to Alpine skiing but for the intermediate levels and for the more technical ski runs, go to the Recoin (Chamrousse 1650). Finally in Chamrousse 1600, you enjoy the Nordic skiing park on the plateau of Arselle.

Ideal for families, the ski-resort proposes a large range of open-air activities, ski and non-ski (snowshoeing, snowmobile, dog sledding, fatbike, igloo village, …)

The ski area of Chamrousse represents a significant acreage, 163 hectares, combining Nordic and Alpine skiing area.

In the forest, this big skiing area is a beautiful place to learn skiing but also to have fun. Place of the Winter Olympics of 1968, the enthusiasts can discover the famous Olympic slopes and have a go at the mythical slope of Casserousse ! Evenings night-ski are also organized for a unique experience… Opened from 17/12 to 22/04/2023.
