Slopes

The Brevent/Planpraz ski lift is 1 km from the residence. It is possible to go there by foot but not advised in winter (with skis) because the street La Mollard is a rise of 300 meters.
The safest is to take the bus at the bus stop "Chamonix Sud" (bus station) which dropp you off at Brevent and/or Planards. Other buses can bring you you in Argentière or in Les Praz.
For hiking, climbing or off-piste skiing, the departure is at the cable railway of the Aiguille du Midi, 150 m farther.

Shops

You find shops all around the residence : there are located in the square Edmond Desailloud behind the residence (pedestrian square) and along the Avenue de l'Aiguille du Midi, 170 meters farther.

Downtown

Very close to the centre, count 5 minutes by foot. You have to cross the river and continue on the right on Rue du Docteur Paccard.
Other possibility : take the free shuttle (le Mulet)which stops in the centre. The shuttle stop is in front ot the residence.

Parking

The residence has a covered parking lot (paying), an other one is 50 meters farther : the Entrèves parking lot (covered and paying).
It is possible to park in the street : ba careful, the car park is paying on places(squares) in ear side river but free on places(squares) situated along the residence. Other free places(squares) are situated after the parking lot Entrèves in the left turn and in the Path Marcel Brunet (during the path).

Ski lockers are at the entrance of the residence.
